Tree Planting, Fence Reinforcement, Faucet Installation for Three
55-Gallon Water Barrels at Basset Rescue Network in Acton, CA.
One hundred homeless animals reside in this shelter while waiting for adoption. Many animals were living in nice homes with their loving owners. Their owners are now homeless due to foreclosures and evictions after losing their jobs.
Basic Needs Foundation stepped up and organized this effort for Basset Rescue Network. We furnished three yards with trees, fence reinforcement, and faucet installations for water barrels.
With major support from the community, this multi-task project was
organized and completed within 10 days:
All supplies, tree holes were ready on Saturday - 7/18/09.
Volunteers came from all over Southern CA on Sunday - 7/19/09 to put the plans together under the hot beating sun. We DID it.
Thank you all. You are the best!
